The newly refurbished Pumphouse on Darling Harbour now houses a restaurant as well as the main bar.
The Pumphouse was originally built as a pumping station for the Sydney & Suburban Hydraulic Power Company in 1890. It helped to power the city’s hydraulic engines, lifts, wool presses, cranes and bank doors.
Newly refurbished and heritage-listed,
the Pumphouse offers a wide selection
of Australian, international and
specialty beers.
They also serve a delicious range of wood-fired pizzas made to order. But if you are in the mood for a lighter meal, you can chose something from their extensive tapas menu.
Located in Little Pier
Street across from
the Entertainment Centre in Darling Harbour, the
Pumphouse is only a 2-minute walk from Chinatown or 5 minutes from the Sydney CBD.
