Nielsen Park is a picturesque example of a Sydney Harbour National Park beach spot.

The park itself is perfect for picnics and offers a great walk along the Hermitage Foreshore. This walk consists of a 1.5km strip of bushland that winds along the western edge of Vaucluse.

The beach is also protected all year round by shark netting, giving locals and tourists extra peace of mind when swimming.
