Situated in Darling Harbour, the Australian National Maritime Museum celebrates Australia's affinity with the ocean. Not just for sea dogs, the Australian National Maritime Museum is for land lovers as well.
Here at the National Maritime Museum, located just opposite the Sydney Aquarium on Darling Harbour, you can sail the seas, maze your way through a submarine and completely submerge yourself while exploring a facet that continues to define Australia, the water.
The National Maritime Museum has a handful of impressive vessels docked on their wharves including the HMAS Vampire, Australia's largest museum vessel. As well as the HMAS Onslow Submarine, which helped protect Australia’s shores for more than 30 years.
If you are interested in exploring these vessels up close, then you can purchase the Navy Ticket, which allows for you to actually step foot onto these historic vessels. Ticket prices are $18.00 for adults and $9.00 for children, or $40.00 for the whole family.
Entry into the Australian National Maritime Museum is free.
