The Museum Of Sydney is a modern museum on a historic site, the site of first government house built 1788.
A short walk from Circular Quay and easily accessible by buses, ferries and trains, the Museum of Sydney first opened its doors in 1995.
Inside the Museum you’ll find displays about the history of the site and its archeology, as well as dynamically changing exhibitions about Sydney ‘Then and Now.’
The Museum of Sydney have a quaint little café on the ground floor, which is perfect for lunch or afternoon tea and a well-renowned shop filled with unique merchandise and specialist books.
The Museum of Sydney is open daily from 9.30 am to 5pm.
